I create a space where you can be yourself - messy, funny, frustrated, or stuck - and know that it’s safe to feel it all. I work collaboratively to help you understand your experiences, navigate your emotions, and uncover your own strengths and values. I bring honesty, curiosity, and compassion to every session, and I’ll call it like I see it while still holding space for everything you’re feeling.
Therapy with me isn’t about pretending everything is tidy - it’s about exploring your emotions, challenging patterns that don’t serve you, and finding ways to live in alignment with who you really are. I’ll laugh with you, validate your experience, and never judge you for being human.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Montana State University, and my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gonzaga University. During my university years, I participated in various advocacy roles, research projects, and internships related to mental health. I have been practicing counseling in different settings, from community mental health to private practice, since 2019.
I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, ADHD, and other complex mental health challenges. While I am comfortable supporting clients through many different struggles, my practice is grounded in EMDR for trauma processing, ADHD-informed counseling, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I especially enjoy helping clients strengthen relationships and communication, identify what is within their control, and build acceptance around what isn’t - creating space for resilience, empowerment, and meaningful personal growth.
I believe therapy should be a space where authenticity is not just allowed but encouraged. I value helping clients build a meaningful and full life - not by avoiding discomfort, but by embracing the full spectrum of the human experience. Growth often comes from leaning in, exploring difficult emotions, and discovering strength, resilience, and clarity on the other side. My work is rooted in compassion, honesty, humor, and a genuine respect for each person’s unique story and journey.
Therapy works best when we’re honest with each other. I value transparency on both sides of the therapeutic relationship: your openness about what’s working, what isn’t, and what you need, and my commitment to offering clear, direct feedback in return. If something feels off in our work together, I want you to feel empowered to say so. Likewise, I will gently - but honestly - challenge patterns, avoidance, or ways of thinking that may be holding you back. True growth often happens when we name the difficult things, work through ruptures, and stay engaged in the process together.
